The RetroMac app

RetroMac needs no account and has no analytics or telemetry. It only goes online to check for updates and, if you use it, to fetch the weather. Nothing about how you use the app is sent to us.

Visiting this website

Our hosting provider processes technically required data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) to deliver the site and keep it secure. These logs are not used to profile you.

We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.

Download counting and consent

If you accept in the cookie box, we count downloads on our own server (which app and when, with a hashed, non-reversible identifier). If you decline, nothing is recorded and the download works the same. You can change your choice anytime in the Impressum.

Newsletter and contact

If you sign up for the newsletter or write to us via the contact form, we store your email address and message only to answer you or send the newsletter. The contact form is handled by Formspree. You can unsubscribe or ask for deletion at any time.

Embedded content

Badges from Product Hunt and Buildlist are loaded from their servers, which receive your IP address when the image loads. Downloads may be served from GitHub for Reframe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data, and object to processing. You can also complain to a data protection authority. Just email info@klotzbrocken.de.
